The Priory Hotel Newport

The Priory Hotel is located in the Historic Town Of Caerleon lies on the river UK, just 3 miles from Newport and close to the M4 Motorway. Originally built in 1180 on the site of old Roman Stables, this former Monastery has been sympathetically restored preserving the original flagstones and the 14th Century medallions surrounding the Nun's Court are said to depict the nine Roman Emperors to have visited Caerleon.A wonderful selection of daily fresh fish, seafood, meat and game are displayed in the main restaurant, complimented by a vast cellar of wines, champagnes and ports served from the Priory's spectacular Oak Bar.
